Though they ultimately fell short of the title, their intent was clear—and in 2025, they’re doubling down. This season’s lineup features a well-rounded, international force: American powerhouse Shahjahan Khan, Pakistan’s Ahsan Ayaz, rising English star Ben Smith, Mexican shotmaker Leonel Cardenas, and Colombia’s Matias Knudsen, known for his relentless pace and grit. With this stacked and hungry squad, the Colts are locked in, loaded, and ready to make a serious run for the crown.

Louisville Community Squash Center

The Kentucky Derby has another sporting event in town to contend with. Louisville is also the home of the Louisville Colts, a professional squash team that competes in the National Squash League. Louisville is a city that boasts a rapidly expanding squash community. The Louisville Community Squash Center is the only location in the state of Kentucky that provides four international singles courts. The center is perfect for hosting professional events, with a great atmosphere conducive to awesome viewing. Lee Scott, Director of Squash, has done a fantastic job growing the program and getting people excited about squash, and this shows in the high-energy attitude of all the members. Lee is a great ambassador of the game, and the NSL is thrilled to welcome the Louisville Colts as one of the nine men’s teams in the 2025 season.
