Just over 1 year ago, Ronald Palomino found himself at a career high world ranking of #70 and was well on his way to becoming Colombia’s next star player- until he ruptured his achilles in a freak accident on court. Doggedly determined, Palomino has worked tirelessly to regain his full fitness and has successfully returned to play at the highest level, winning 2 gold medals at the 2023 Pan American Games in Chile- if that’s not worth a documentary, then nothing is. Look out for Palomino in an NSL jersey this year as he uses his big wingspan and effortless movements to control the court.
