Atlanta Tornados

Atlanta completely re-tooled their roster around franchise player Miguel Rodriguez, headed into season 3. Their first two draft picks: 3x World Champion Nick Matthew and Omar Mosaad (HWR #3), leaned into experience and leadership. Complementing their old core is rising NSL star Mohamed Sharaf, a carryover from last year’s roster, a dynamic player in Ivan Perez, whose motor never stops running, and Sanjay Jeeva, who provides a deceptive attacking flair. With the perfect mix of experience and youth, owner Chad Hood and the Atlanta organization hope they can keep building a sustainable winner down south.

Atlanta Community Squash

Atlanta, the southernmost city in the NSL, is a city with a rich history of professional squash and has been host to several challenger tour PSA events over the years. The Atlanta Tornados will make their home at Atlanta Community Squash, a community center that provides affordable access to squash players of all levels. They offer 5 singles courts as well as a hardball doubles court. They are also the home of A+ squash, a non-profit organization that provides academic support and teaches young kids the game of squash. The program is headed by Mark Heather, a former top 40 professional player.
