Lake Erie Beacons – Men’s

After an undefeated regular season last year, Lake Erie is well-positioned to make some noise in the North Division this year. Their offseason philosophy? If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. The Beacons retained their core four of Victor Crouin, Yannick Wilhelmi, Bernat Jaume, and Nick Spizziri, electing only to make moves on the margins. To round out the roster, Lake Erie selected David Baillargeon, the tough Spaniard who’s as scrappy as anyone in the NSL. They also snagged Ben Smith in the sixth round, who has upside to far outperform that draft slot at just 23 years old. Lake Erie hopes to continue where they left off and end this season with an NSL title.
