Match Preview: The NSL Junior All Star Match Presented by the Khan Family

Welcome to the official preview of the NSL Junior All Star Match presented by The Khan Family! We are officially less than 1 week away from showcasing the highest level of junior squash in America, all under the roof of the Arlen Specter US Squash National Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. 

This match is brought to you by the Khan Family, who are highlighting The Khan Squash Growth Foundation. The Foundation’s three main pillars are Education, Athletics and Employment for underserved populations in the U.S. and around the globe. Faraaz Khan, one of America’s best under-17 squash players, will serve as the first ever Director of the Foundation. A list of their current projects (such as the Beyond the Court initiative assisting squash development across Africa) as well as a donation link can be found on their website  https://www.ksgfoundation.com/

THE WHO:

12 of the top ranked juniors in the country have been selected to create two mouth-watering NSL matchups. US Squash Head National Coach Nick Taylor and his Director of Junior National Teams Karim Ibrahim will lead the two respective squads, and the lineups are as follows:

TEAM TAYLOR: 

Maddox Moxham “Mad Maddox”– Mortsel, Belgium. U.S. No. 5

Faazil Khan “The Wizard of Faaz”– Toronto, Canada. U.S. No. 9

Colten McLaughlin “King Colten”– Newtown, PA. U.S. No. 12

Alex Jaffe “Laughy Jaffe”– Philadelphia, PA. U.S. No. 2 

Eliza Schuster “Booster Schuster” Timonium, MD. U.S. No.3 

Riya Shankaran “Royal Riya” Newtown Square, PA. U.S. No. 12 

TEAM IBRAHIM:

Sam “Jaff-in-the-box” Jaffe– Philadelphia, PA. U.S. No. 4

Savannah “The Chocolatier” Moxham– Mortsel, Belgium. U.S. No, 6

The girl’s match kicks off @ 5pm Friday, February 1st at the Arlen Specter U.S. Squash Center. The boys will follow on after, and entry is free!! The match will also be streamed live on the National Squash League Youtube channel (@nationalsquashleague)
