New York Knights

New York means business after using the offseason to heavily re-tool their roster. In the offseason, they only kept two players, Eain Yow Ng and Rory Stewart. They used their second round pick on top 20 player Baptiste Masotti, immediately upgrading the roster on paper. But, the real wizardry came with their fourth round pick. The Knights drafted Mohamed ElSherbini, who on his own was a good value pick in the fourth round. Not long after the draft, the Knights executed a blockbuster trade for none other than Mohamed ElShorbagy. Who did they give up? ElSherbini. That’s how you rebuild a roster. Led by the newly acquired ElShorbagy and franchise mainstays Eain Yow NG and Rory Stewart, the Knights look to get back to winning ways in 2026.

Open Squash

NSL is coming to the Big Apple! New York City has long been known as one of the hotbeds of squash on the East Coast. Not only does the city play host to the iconic Tournament of Champions held in Grand Central Station, but it is also renowned for its wide array of club programs and elite junior talent. The New York City Knights will be based out of Open Squash, an amazing new center located in the Financial District. Open Squash was founded with a simple mission: “bring squash to more people–at every level and from all walks of life.” This vision couldn’t be more aligned with the NSL, and we are thrilled to have one of the six founding cities call Open Squash their home. The Knights’ home match vs Newport on June 8th will decide the winner of the North Division; come loud, bring your friends, and expect it to be a belter!
