Simon Herbert is a young but talented Englishman who has come out of the woodworks in the England squash system. He had a great year in 2023, improving his ranking by 25 spots from 81 to 56 in the world. He is very flexible and adaptable on the court, utilizing all 4 corners whilst playing at a high pace.

He acquired his nickname because of his love for the early morning grind, especially in the weight room.
