CLEVELAND, THIS IS FOR YOU!!!!!! The National Squash League is excited to announce the Lake Erie Beacons as the first professional squash team in Cleveland, Ohio. The Beacons will have both a men’s and women’s team for the 2025 season, adding to an already rich sports culture in the city. The teams are co-owned by Topnotch Management and Mark Anderson, who will be hungry to build a competitive roster from the word go. Topnotch Management is a talent agency representing the best athletes in tennis and pickleball, and they have been active in the squash world as well by running the Squash in the Land Silver Level event on the PSA World Tour. The NSL is excited to welcome both Mark and Topnotch to the league and is anticipating a juggernaut in Cleveland.

The Beacons will make their home at Urban Squash Cleveland, a beautiful center with an all glass court that also has a great impact on the local community. January 8, 2025/in 2025 NSL, Draft News/by National Squash League

The National Squash League is thrilled to announce the District Inferno as the second women’s expansion team for the 2025 season. The team owner is Willie Gaynor and minority partner is Dexter Walker; longtime friends and squash enthusiasts. Inferno ownership boasts plenty of experience in the professional squash world already, as the Gaynor family has hosted the PSA Silver level Gaynor Cup in Cincinnati for the past several years. Walker and Gaynor will no doubt be drawing on this first hand experience to craft a solid draft strategy going into the season. On top of a myriad of other successes, Willie Gaynor also sponsors the Mid-Atlantic Squash Conference Women’s Championships, highlighting some of the best of women’s collegiate squash. The NSL is excited to welcome both Willie and Dexter to the league and look forward to seeing them in action this year.

The Inferno will bring the heat this season at Squash on Fire, a world-class facility in downtown DC, home to the Squash on Fire Open and the Georgetown Varsity Women’s Program. The facility boasts two show courts, one of them being the renowned all-glass that has hosted the very best players in the world on many occasions, the most prominent of which being the 2019 Men’s World Team Championships.
