Lake Erie Beacons – Women’s
NSL is officially coming to The Land! Cleveland makes history as the first city to host both a men’s and women’s team, and the Beacons are poised to become a fixture in the City of Champions. As an expansion team for the women, Cleveland holds a guaranteed top-3 pick in the 2025 Draft, and with ownership hungry for a contender, the stage is set for big things. Leading the way are an exciting mix of talent: American star Sabrina Sobhy, the powerful Alina Bushma, rising talent Audrey Berling, the dynamic Hollie Naughton, and English Star Lucy Beecroft. With a roster built for success and a city that lives and breathes sport, the Beacons are ready to shine bright in 2025 and beyond.
Through regular squash practice and competitions, students’ passion for the sport helps them develop healthy habits, endurance, coordination, physical and mental awareness, hard work and discipline. The fascinating game is a wonderful vehicle that helps open doors and connects our team with meaningful opportunities. Students receive homework help, literacy development, ACT & SAT tutoring, and college support to help them pursue personally meaningful post-secondary opportunities. Team members participate in unique culinary and agricultural experiences, field trips, internships, camps, wellness sessions, and travel to cities and colleges across the country as they form relationships with mentors, volunteers, and one another.
