Chicago Grizzlies

The Grizzlies showed flashes of brilliance in Season 1, pushing the Dragons to the edge in Newport and holding their own against the eventual champions from New York. While they never quite put all the pieces together, the foundation was set—and now, they’re back with a new look and a new level of hunger for Season 2. The 2025 squad features a dynamic mix of talent from around the globe: English prodigy Sam Todd, Egyptian shotmaker Youssef Ibrahim, the ever-consistent Curtis Malik, ‘The Acrobat’ Greg Marche, and rising Argentine star Jeremias Azana. With this balanced and battle-ready lineup, the Grizzlies are poised to turn potential into results—and no one will want to face them twice.

University Club of Chicago

The Windy City is adding professional squash to its already rich team sports culture. Home of the Bulls, Bears, Blackhawks, Cubs, and White Sox, Chicago has a history of excellence across the major sports and the Grizzlies will have high expectations from the get go. Although this will be Chicago’s first venture into the professional squash world in a team setting, the city is no stranger to the sport. Chicago’s Union Station played host to the PSA World Championships in 2023, which boasted a record prize fund of over 1 million dollars split between the men and women. Additionally, the Windy City Open has been a mainstay on the PSA World Tour and has been one of the larger events on the calendar for years. The Grizzlies are based out of the University Club in downtown Chicago, one of the city’s oldest institutions founded in 1887.
